WHAT IS TORONTO TO ZERO?
Toronto to Zero is a member of the Fast-Track Cities network, a global partnership between cities and municipalities around the world aimed at ending inequalities and getting on track to End AIDS by 2030.
Toronto has always been the epicentre of HIV in Ontario. Home to only 20% of Ontarians, Toronto accounts for about 50% of HIV diagnoses each year. The challenge for Toronto to Zero is to: prevent local transmissions; and ensure that all people living with HIV in Toronto receive the care they need.
