A growing number of gay, bisexual, and queer men and two spirit people are using crystal meth when they have sex. This forum will cover how crystal affects us cognitively, and how it impacts our perceptions of love and lust, and self-esteem. What’s the impact on our health and lives? What are the challenges that can arise when we engage in substance use? What options are there to help change how we use substances? Guest speakers include David Fawcett, author of Lust, Men, and Meth: A Gay Man’s Guide to Sex and Recovery, Mark S. King, writer of the popular blog My Fabulous Disease, and David Pantalone, Behavioral Scientist at the Fenway Institute and Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
