You’re invited to the Grand Opening at The Village Pharmacy at 535 Yonge Street, on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
The Village Pharmacy started at 473 Church Street more than 15 years ago focusing on helping people access HIV, PrEP and PEP treatments.
This second location of The Village Pharmacy at 535 Yonge Street will be one of only two pharmacies across Ontario that will be participating in a pilot HIV Point-of-Care Testing program – launching Nov. 29 – that will offer HIV testing to the public by a trained pharmacist.
The Grand Opening event on Nov. 30 will help kick off this HIV testing initiative, and at the same time, commemorate World AIDS Day. Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam will be on hand to cut the ceremonial red ribbon at 11:30 am.
