The Community Associate uses personal identity, lived experience, and community focus to supplement the knowledge of a team which may have less or different lived experience and community insight and which is equally valued.

Community Associates are persons with lived or living experience of HIV or strong connections to communities affected by HIV (e.g., African, Caribbean, Black, Indigenous, 2SLGBTQ+, people who use substances, newcomers, etc.)
